June began, and we all waited anxiously for when they hay was to be cut, and watched as the men milked the cows but they forgot to fed us! Instead they went hunting for rabbits while we sat around hungry waiting until Mr. Jones came back so that maybe he would feed us, but no, he came home and went straight to bed, so we sat around starving. Finally we had enough, I watched as one of the cows used her horn to break down the door of the shed. That woke up Mr. Jones then we watched in terror as four of his men approached us, holding whips. But we were starving so for the first time ever, we all lunged at them and kicked and butted them until two of the men started to run away leading the other men and all of the animals were satisfied, following the men down the tracks that stopped at the main road. I kept chasing the five men, I was getting a bit tired, but we had almost made our point so I kept following the stampede until Mr. Jones and his men came to a barred gate and slammed it behind them running off terrified. I think that we all knew, the Rebellion had begun.
I couldn't believe it! We had actually chased Jones and his men away and set our boundaries. After getting back to the barn, I helped as we all destroyed evidence of Mr. Jones ever being involved in our barn. We ripped it all down and threw it into the fire, watching the flames consume them with its bright flames. We also burned the ribbons that the horses wore in their manes, and Boxer brought his straw hat and threw that into the fire along with everything else. Then we all headed to the store-shed for the first bites of food we had in hours. I munched on my delicious pieces ( that’s right two!) of corn and I couldn't be happier. Then, before going to sleep, I sang along to Beasts of England and enjoyed my well-earned sleep.
