Mollie always came to work late and I had heard that Mollie complained of mysterious pains, even though she ate well, this wasn’t good, especially since the other pigs were getting suspicious because it was too consistent. One day I saw Mollie being pulled aside by Clover, although I didn’t hear anything I already knew what they were talking about. I also watched as she started to head back to the shed, but instead of going into her own stall, she went into Mollie’s. I saw her shift through her pile of hay and then I saw, there was a pile of lump sugar and several ribbons, I couldn’t really say I was surprised, because when I remembered our first meeting, she kept asking about sugar and wearing ribbons, now I knew what it was all about. Three days later, Mollie disappeared, the pigeons claimed to have seen her on the other side of Willington wearing a ribbon and clearly enjoying herself as she was stroked by a human and being fed sugar cubes. After her disappearance, we were told not to speak of her again and no one did.
